Samsung is still months away from launching the Galaxy Z Fold 3 but a new tip suggests how much it would cost. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is Samsung’s most expensive phone and it looks like the next-generation model will continue the legacy.
According to a tweet by leaker Mauri QHD, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will cost the same as its predecessor. Galaxy Z Fold 2 is priced at ₹1,49,999 for the sole 256GB variant. If this leak is to be believed then the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will also carry this price tag. There have been rumours of Samsung working on an ‘affordable’ version of its foldable phone so it’s quite likely the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will stick to the super-premium price tag.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has been spotted in leaks and reports quite often. The foldable smartphone is expected to feature an under-display camera making it a first for a Samsung phone. The Galaxy S21 was said to debut this technology but recent reports point out it will be the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Samsung is said to use a “special display design” that will widen the pixels over the camera sensor for more light to enter on the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Samsung’s flagship smartphone lineup for 2021 reportedly features a ‘Galaxy Z Fold FE’ which will be a replacement for the Note series. Samsung will continue with the S Pen support on possibly the Galaxy Z Fold FE and Galaxy S21 Ultra as well.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in the third quarter of 2021.
