In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered to increase the stipend amount with immediate effect as a new year gift to students who are doing internships after completion of MBBS and BDS course.
AIR correspondent reports that meeting the much-awaited demand of the students, CM has decided to increase the stipend from 7,500 to 12,000 rupees. This increase in allowances has come after 10 years.
As per the information from Chief Minister’s Office, students doing internships by qualifying MBBS or BDS examination from State Medical Colleges, institutes and universities will now get 12,000 rupees internship allowance per month.
