Defence Minister Rajnath Singh says India-UK CETA strengthens India’s economic growth & global partnerships

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, which came into force today, marks a significant step in strengthening India’s economic growth and global partnerships. In a social media post, Mr Singh said that the agreement will boost exports, create new opportunities for MSMEs, support Indian industries, and benefit professionals working in the UK, opening new avenues for jobs and investment. Mr Singh underlined that India, guided by the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continues to secure agreements that strengthen the country’s economy, expand global opportunities and contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
