Delhi Police has dismissed reports that are currently circulating on various social media platforms claiming that Abhijit Dipke has been detained by the Police. In a social media post, the Police clarified that these allegations are entirely false.Delhi Police has appealed to all the protestors in New Delhi to maintain peace, exercise restraint, and cooperate with the police in ensuring peace and public order. In a video message, Additional Commissioner and Public Relations Officer of Delhi Police Rajeev Ranjan urged the participants to conduct themselves peacefully, refrain from indulging in any unlawful or violent activities and comply with the lawful directions issued by police officers or personnel deployed on duty. He advised the public not to believe or circulate rumours, misinformation or unverified content through any platform. Mr Ranjan also advised the citizens to rely only on authentic sources of information and extend their cooperation to Delhi Police in maintaining peace, harmony and public order.
