Apple Store online goes live on September 23 in India; offer full range of products with contactless delivery

Apple Store online, the company’s first-ever dedicated online store is going live in India on September 23. Tim Cook took to Twitter to announce the news early on Friday. The Cupertino-based giant will have the full range of products and will offer support directly to customers across the country. This will mean that customers in India can buy iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch, MacBook devices, and Apple TV. 

“The new online store will provide customers with the same premium experience found in Apple store locations around the world, delivered by online team members who are ready to offer their expertise,” the company said in a statement.

Much like the physical store, customers can get suggestion, guidance, and can even learn about the new products directly from the company both in English and Hindi. For students, Apple will offer special pricing on Mac and iPad as well as provide discounts on accessories and AppleCare+. 

In October, customers can expect free online Today at Apple sessions led by local Creative Pros, focused on photography and music. 
Notably, Apple is all set to cash in on the festival season as it will offer signature gift wrap and personalized engraving will be available for select products.

Customers can get the engraving of emoji or text in English, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu will be available for AirPods, and English engraving will be available for iPad and Apple Pencil.

Why the launch timing of Apple Store online in India is a bullseye?

Apple is launching its all-new online store in India on September 23 just a few weeks ahead of the year-end festivities kick-off. The company has announced various offers, as well as student, offers to fully cash-in on the opportunity.

Making sure that it is not missing the festivities in India, Apple has also announced various financing options and trade-in programs. “the Apple Store online offers a range of affordability options,” the company adds it its release. 

Keeping the COVID situation in mind, the company has also announced that it will offer products ordered from Apple Store online with contactless delivery. The company also confirmed that orders that do not require a signature would be left at the customer’s door, and those do will need only a verbal confirmation from a safe distance. This procedure will remove the requirement of a written signature.

Apple on Friday also shared the online destination of its upcoming online store in India. The website is live right now; though, misses out on products. It currently lists various things that the company will be offering in the country starting next week including Shop with Apple Specialists which is a shopping assistance feature; no-contact delivery for free; Choose how you pay; Turn your old phone into an iPhone; Configure order for Mac orders; Personal sessions to get more from your Apple device with a free session.

The online website will also allow people to buy AppleCare+ where customers can extend warranty and services for their purchased products. The company will also be offering Support on call or chat for customers in India.
