In a recent development, Apple Store online – the company’s first dedicated online store will be going live on September 23. This was announced by Tim Cook on Twitter – the company will be offering its full range of products and will also offer support directly to customers across the country. This means customers in India can buy iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch, MacBook devices, and Apple TV as well.
“The new online store will provide customers with the same premium experience found in Apple store locations around the world, delivered by online team members who are ready to offer their expertise,” the company revealed in a statement.
In the light of the new online store coming up in India on September 23, the timing is perfect as the year-end festivities are all set to kick in starting October. The company has also announced a number of offers, as well as student offers as well.
Apple has also announced a number of financing options and other trade-in programs. “The Apple Store online offers a range of affordability options,” the company stated in a release.
The Cupertino giant has also announced that they will implement contactless delivery on products which have been ordered from the Apple Store.
Also, orders which do not need signatures will be left at the doorstep, and those which need verbal confirmation will be done from a safe distance. The procedure will remove the need for a written signature.
The Apple Online Store is live right now but products are yet to be listed. It has listed a number of features like Shop with Apple Specialists, no-contact delivery for free, Choose how you pay, Turn your old phone into an iPhone, Configure order for Mac orders, personal sessions, and more. The website will also allow people to buy AppleCare+ where customers can also extend the warranty and services for their devices.
