Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut who had abused Bollywood superstar Kangana Ranaut calling her “haramkhor ladki” over her tweet comparing Mumbai to Pakistan occupied Kashmir and then Taliban said he will think about issuing an apology to the actress once she apologises to Maharashtra.
Talking to the media, Raut said, “If that girl will apologise to Maharashtra, then I will think about it. She calls Mumbai a mini Pakistan. Does she have the courage to say the same about Ahmedabad?” said Raut.
The National Award-winning actresshad accused Raut of giving her an open threat.
“Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena leader has given me an open threat and asked me not to come back to Mumbai. After Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir?” tweeted Kangana.
Reacting to the Shiv Sena leader’s statement, BJP’s Sambit Patra took a “Drugs, Death & Dhoka” jibe at Raut.
‘Movie mafia declared me a psycho in 2008’
The actress said that in 2008, “Movie Mafia” declared her a “psycho” and in 2016 she was labelled as “witch and stalker”.
“In 2020 Maharashtra Minister publicity gave her the title of Haramkhor Ladki, because I said after a murder I feel unsafe in Mumbai, where are INTOLERANCE debate warriors?” he said.
After the drug mafia link was exposed by the central agencies in Sushant death case, the actress revealed that drugs culture was rampant in Bollywood.
She further said that her life was in danger as she spoke about drug and movie mafia racket and said she felt “unsafe”.
If I feel unsafe, does that mean I hate the industry and Mumbai?” she said in another tweet.
Rattled by Kangana’s statements, Raut accused her of lying and said that Mumbai gave a lot to Kangana but now she is working to discredit the name of Mumbai and Mumbai Police all over the world.
