Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed that the people who returned after 9th December in the State from the countries affected by the new form of Coronavirus should be compulsorily subjected to RT-PCR test. Yogi was addressing a high level review meeting on COVID-19 at Lucknow today. The Chief Minister also instructed that the effective system of management, treatment and prevention from COVID-19 be continued in the State.
The Chief Minister has also instructed that the testing of the persons returned to the State during the period between 25th November to 8 December from the countries affected from the new variant of COVID-19 be conducted on the basis of effective isolation and symptoms.
Expressing satisfaction on the highest number of the tests conducted in the State in the country, the Chief Minister said that testing work of COVID-19 samples will be continued with full strength in the State.
The Chief Minister asked to keep the COVID hospitals well arranged to provide better treatment to the patients. He also said that in wake of COVID-19 immunisation, all necessary arrangements like cold chain and storage be effectively made and the training of vaccinators be continued with full speed and capacity.
