UP Budget 2021: 140 crore proposed for Ayodhya, know which department got what

The Government of Uttar Pradesh has presented the budget of 2021-22 in the Legislative Assembly. Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented the first paperless budget of the state on Monday. The total budget of the state government is 5 lakh 50 thousand 270 crore 78 lakh rupees, which is the largest budget in the state so far.

The Yogi government has announced important schemes like free water for farmers, cheaper loans, funds for corona vaccine, laying of expressways and metro nets in the state. The size of this budget is Rs 37,410 crore more than the previous financial year.

Under the first ‘paperless’ budget of the state, budget documents were made available to all the members on the tablet. This is the fifth budget of the Yogi government of the state. New schemes worth Rs 27,598.40 crore have been proposed in this budget.

140 crores given for Ayodhya

The Finance Minister announced that a budget of Rs 140 crore is proposed for the financial year 2021-22 for the plan for the all-round development of the city of Ayodhya, including the development of Suryakund in Ayodhya. At the same time, a provision of Rs 50 crore is proposed for the construction of the National Inspiration Site in Lucknow.

Apart from this, the airport under construction in the district Ayodhya will be named Maryada Purushottam Shriram Airport Ayodhya, for which a budget provision of Rs 101 crore has been proposed.

Declaration for workers

The Chief Minister Pravasi Shramik Udyantika Vikas Yojana has been announced during the budget. Apart from this, a proposal of Rs 100 crore has also been made to provide self-employment and employment to the workers. The Chief Minister Accident Insurance Scheme has also been announced in this budget for social security to workers, unorganized sector workers.

Budget is dedicated to youth and employment

Presenting the budget, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that the budget of 2020-21 is dedicated to youth and employment. Employees’ salaries and pensions have been paid. Apart from this, in this budget we are giving protection to every woman of the state. The government is taking tough action against the culprits.

Aim to make Uttar Pradesh self-reliant

Five crore twelve lakh students received debit cards. The goal is to make Uttar Pradesh self-reliant. Complaints are being dealt with fast. More than 6,800 crore rupees were sent to farmers’ accounts. In this budget, a budget provision of Rs. 976 crore for canal project, Rs. 610 crore for Saryu canal project, Rs. 271 crore for Eastern Ganga Canal project and Rs. 104 crore for Ken Betwa Link Canal project.

Other highlights of UP Budget 2021-22

• The approved cost of the Kanpur Metro Rail Project is Rs 11,076 crore. A provision of Rs. 597 crore is proposed for the project in the budget of the financial year 2021-2022. The targeted date is to start a trial run on Motijheel from IIT Kanpur, the primary section of the Kanpur Metro Rail Project.

• Mission power of UP government will be further enhanced. In addition, the mass marriage scheme will be expanded.

• Mukhyamantri Saksham Sucharnit Yojana will be brought under which malnourished children will be given extra nutrition at Anganwadi centers. Apart from this, an announcement has also been made to establish Mahila Shakti Kendra in the state.

• Women Strength Scheme will now be implemented in the state. All the spinning mills lying closed in the state will be renovated.

• Sports University will be built in Meerut, open gyms will be built in rural areas. A total of 40 hostels will be built in 19 districts of the state. 8.55 crore is proposed for the Youth Sports Development and Promotion Scheme.

• The farmers will be given loans at concessional rates, for this a proposal of Rs 400 crore.

• Students will be given tablets under Abhyudaya scheme. In order to provide free coaching to the youth for competitive examinations, the country government has recently started an innovative initiative. It is proposed to set up model career centers in 12 districts of the state.

• An amount of Rs 4,094 crore has been proposed in the financial year 2021-22 for the nutritional program aimed at ensuring all round physical development of the children of the state. A provision of 415 crore has been made for the National Nutrition Campaign.
