The Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday took Rhea Chakraborty into their custody in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
The sources had earlier informed that the narcotics bureau had got the clearance to arrest the model-turned-actress. The NCB could produce her via video conferencing since courts close for the day at 5 pm.
Chakraborty had earlier in the day gone to the NCB office in Mumbai for further interrogation for the third consecutive day after a drug case emerged in connection with Sushant’s death case.
A case had also been registered against the deceased actor’s sister Priyanka Singh, Dr Tarun Kumar and a few others under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai at the behest of Chakraborty.
