Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has held a meeting with the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services of Saudi Arabia, Saleh Aljasser, on the sidelines of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia. During the meeting, they exchanged views on the infrastructure projects in the two countries and transport and logistics corridors in the region. The two leaders also discussed prospective projects for bilateral cooperation, including in railways and logistics.
Mr Vaishnaw also held a meeting with Russian Railways CEO Oleg Belozerov and his senior management team and discussed new projects and technological innovations in various systems in the railways sector of the two countries, including high-speed trains.
