Narcotics control bureau has received the forensic report on the viral video of Karan Johar house party, submitted to the Director-General Rakesh Asthana as an evidence by Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa.
Sources say, the video has been found undoctored. The video was of a party hosted by Karan Johar where many Bollywood celebrities were seen.
Narcotics control bureau will be having a meeting soon to discuss further course of action.
In his statement, Karan Johar has already clarified saying it to be a malicious campaign against him and his family. “I have already clarified my position way back in 2019 that the allegations were false,” he said, while also adding that media reports are being wrongly misleading by reporting that narcotics were consumed at the party.
“All these slanderous and malicious statements, news articles, news clipping unnecessarily subjected me, my family, my colleagues and Dharma Production to haterade contempt and ridiculous,” said Karan Johar’s statement
On narcotic control Bureau questioning which later led to the arrest of Kshitij Ravi Prasad, the Dharma Production also distanced itself from having any association with him the statement from Karan Johar said, “Mr Kshitij Ravi Prasad joined Dharma entertainment in November 2019 as one of the executive producer on contract basis for project which eventually did not materialize.”
Manjinder Singh Sirsa came out with the video statement stating his stand has been vindicated. Very soon Karan Johar will have to face legal consequences for hosting and a drug party at his house and will be having legal consequences, said Sirsa
