The Mumbai Police yesterday issued notices to actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel to be present before Bandra Police on 26th and 27th of October.
The notice has been issued after the direction from the court. On 17th of October, the Bandra Magistrate Court had ordered an FIR to be registered against the duo for promoting enmity between groups on grounds of religion through their tweets.
This direction came after Munnawarali alias Sahil Ahsrafali Sayyed, a feature film casting director filed an application before the court. The application alleged that her tweets are creating divisions between Hindu and Muslim Artists.
