Mount of the rising sun i.e. Arunachal Pradesh, in India every morning the first ray of sun falls in Arunachal Pradesh. In the forest and tribal areas, the sound of birds chirping and the green leaves and colorful flowers of the red sun make a wonderful beauty scene at dawn.

The Legislative Assembly was formed and government rule began. Then on 20 February 1987, Arunachal attained full state status. From then till today, the foundation day of the state is celebrated on this day every year.

• Some important steps taken by the government for the state

• Ministry of Power brought electricity to all the villages here under new schemes- Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana.

• Under the Saubhagya scheme, electricity is being provided to about 43 thousand households.

• In the state budget of 2019, an allocation of Rs 15 crore for urban development was made.

• In 2018, the state got the first medical college – Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences.

• The government started the Arogya Arunachal Yojana, under which a provision was made to provide health insurance of Rs 5 lakh to all families.

• In 2018 agreements were signed with 17 private companies, under which the North East Connectivity Scheme was further promoted here.

• As of November 2019, 83 gram panchayats here have been linked with Bharat Net program.

• The state has proposed to provide 100% tap connection to all families by March 2023 by Arunachal Pradesh. The Government of India has sanctioned Rs 255 crore for the state under the Water Life Mission (JJM) in the year 2020-21.
