Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System Corridor is likely to be completed by June, 2025. This was stated by Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Kaushal Kishore in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
He said, National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) has informed that work on this corridor is in full swing and on schedule. The Minister said, National Capital Region Planning Board prepared a Functional Plan on Transport for NCR-2032 which recommended eight Regional Rapid Transit System corridors to connect various important towns of NCR with high speed rail based commuter transit system.
