Gangtok (Sikkim) [India], sep 18 : the Indian military has rescued nearly 350 humans such as 115 civilians, 216 military employees and 12 personnel of Indo-Tibetan border police (itbp) in sikkim over the past days after incessant rains and landslides hit the north and east area.
In a press statement, wing commander Ratnakar Singh said, “traces of communication have come to a standstill and each day pastime has come to a halt in maximum elements of the country. The street connectivity has been disrupted because of landslides within the location of north and east sikkim.”
