சென்னை மற்றும் புறநகர்ப் பகுதிகளில் பரவலாக மழை

கிண்டி, ராயப்பேட்டை, கோயம்பேடு, மடிப்பாக்கம், வேளச்சேரி, குரோம்பேட்டை உள்ளிட்ட பகுதிகளில் கனமழை பெய்ததால் தெருக்களில் மழைநீர் தேங்கியது. திருவள்ளூர், காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டங்களில் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் மழை பெய்ததால் விவசாயிகள் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்தனர்.

இதனிடையே, வெப்பச் சலனம் மற்றும் லேசான காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வுநிலை காரணமாக திருவள்ளூர், காஞ்சிபுரம், கடலூர், ராமநாதபுரம், தூத்துக்குடி, திருநெல்வேலி, விருதுநகர் ஆகிய 7 மாவட்டங்களில் இன்று கனமழைக்கு வாய்ப்பிருப்பதாக வானிலை மையம் கூறியுள்ளது.
