Chennai: Vellore suffered an overnight spike with nearly 100 cases with Covid19 symptoms being reported.
The number of people infected with coronavirus in Tamil Nadu is increasing day by day. Districts including Chennai, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Thiruvallur, Thiruvannamalai and Madurai are becoming more affected.
Corona prevalence in Vellore district continues to surge. As per reports, the number of people affected in the district yesterday was 2,225.
Further to it, more than 100 people have been diagnosed with corona virus overnight in the district. With this, the total number of people affected by Corona has risen to 2,325.
It was also reported that 904 people were discharged after treatment. The district administration is also taking serious steps to curb the spread of the virus.
The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday recorded 3,616 new cases of COVID 19 and 65 people have succumbed to the disease. With this, the total tally of COVID 19 positive cases in the state has raised to 1,18,594. Share
