In Uttarakhand, the portals of the famous Himalayan shrine, the eleventh Jyotirling Shri Kedarnath Dham, located at Rudraprayag will be opened for the devotees on May 10 at 7 am. On the occasion of the Mahashivratri festival today, the date for opening the portals of the temple for the summer season was announced. According to the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee, Panchmukhi Doli will leave for Kedarnath Dham on 6th May and will reach Kedarnath Dham on the evening of 9th May after passing through various stops. It may be recalled that the portals of Badrinath Dham located in the Chamoli district will open on May 12.
