UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that officials communicate with each investor to ensure that each investment proposal is implemented. Along these lines, the state government has increased its efforts in implementing the investment proposals of the Global Investors’ Summit (GIS) 2023.
“Contact every investor that participated in the GIS, know their needs and expectations, and provide them the benefits of the new policies and rules immediately. It should be ensured that no investor-related file is pending,” the Chief Minister said while reviewing development projects with various ministers and departmental Additional Chief Secretaries. He stated that Udyami Mitra (entrepreneur friends) should be deployed immediately under the Chief Minister’s Udyami Mitra Scheme for the convenience of investors.
Notably, at least one entrepreneur friend should be deployed at the national, authority, and district levels. “Selection should be transparent, and only deserving youth should be chosen,” the Chief Minister stated. He further asked officials to train youths through the Chief Minister’s Internship Program so that when industries set up their business units, they could obtain trained employees.
The CM also highlighted the importance of providing cutting-edge urban facilities in Lucknow, as the Uttar Pradesh State Capital Region (SCR) would be established along the lines of the National Capital Region (NCR) by connecting Lucknow and neighbouring districts.
“People from various cities want to come here and live permanently. Population pressure is also increasing in the surrounding districts, and there have been reports of unplanned development,” he said. “In this situation, the formation of SCR will be beneficial in terms of coordinated development. Prepare and present a detailed action plan for the state capital region within the next two weeks,” he reiterated.
