Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the ‘Jai Hind – The New Light and Sound Show’ at Red Fort in Delhi today. The show will be showcased in Hindi and English Languages. A total of seven hundred people can watch the show at one time. The Light and Sound Show in Red Fort is being started after a gap of almost five years.
The Ministry of Culture said, this show is a new avatar of the Sound and Light Show, in which a dramatic presentation of bravery and the history of India from the 17th century to the present day will be shown. It said, the one-hour-long Show divided into three parts will bring to life key episodes from India’s history including the rise of the Marathas, the 1857 War of Independence, the rise of the Indian National Army, and the INA trials, the fight for Independence.
The Ministry said, the country’s continuing progress over the past 75 years will be also presented by using all forms of performance art – projection mapping, live-action films, light and immersive sound, actors, dancers, and puppets. It said, as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Archaeological Survey of India have already opened four Museums and now the addition of a new Light and Sound show will only strengthen patriotic pride among the visitors.
