A deep rooted propaganda war is waged online with a play card—DEAR HINDUS, WE REJECTED ISLAMIC STATE IN 1947, NOW IT IS YOUR TURN TO REJECT HINDU STATE—by self proclaimed seculars and liberals to mislead and misinform current generations about partition in 1947.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath busted the propaganda when he answered, those Muslims who didn’t go to Pakistan during partition in 1947, didn’t do any favour to India, after BBC reporter tried to set the same propaganda deeper that Muslims participating in the anti-CAA protest at Shaheen Bagh belong to the families which decided not to go to Pakistan created on the basis of religion.
India must walk down the history lane if it doesn’t want to be fooled and manipulated again after 1947. Aligarh Muslim University—which shouted slogans of हिंदुत्व की कब्र खुदेंगी AMU की धरती पर in December to protest against CAA—is the same institution, which, in 1906, gave birth to ‘All India Muslim League, responsible for partition in 1947.
AMU was the centre of separatist movement by rallying behind, Muslim League leader, Mohammed Ali Jinnah. Jinnah described the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) as the arsenal of Pakistan because AMU’s teachers and students actively supported the movement demanding a separate Pakistan for Muslim League.
When the 1945-46 Central Assembly polls—the last Parliamentary election before Partition—were held, over 89% Muslim voted for Jinnah’s Muslim League. Thereafter, the result became referendum for creation of Pakistan. Less than 5% Muslim voted for the Congress, even if Congress’s president was Maulana Abul Kalam Azad at the time of election. It gives clear idea what majority of Muslims wanted then.
Looking at the role of AMU, it should have been shut down after partition, but those who voted for Pakistan didn’t allow to close but hung the picture of butcher Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who caused bloodbath calling for Direct Action Day to demand Pakistan, on the wall of AMU.
Dear Muslims, UP Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath has shown you mirror. You campaigned and voted for Pakistan. After Pakistan was created, you stayed back in secular India so that you can milk the cow by forming ‘All India Muslim Personal Board Law’, by swearing by Sharia Law. Muslims participating in the anti-CAA protest at Shaheen Bagh belong to the families which voted for Jinnah’s Muslim League, now crying for another Pakistan.
