Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. His untimely demise has shocked the entire nation. His fans and a few celebrities including Kangana Ranaut, Shekhar Suman have been demanding for a CBI inquiry.
Yesterday, Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family with abetment of suicide among other things.
Now actor Shekhar Suman has taken to his Twitter handle and requested Sushant’s family to insist for a CBI inquiry. He wrote, “Requesting the family of Sushant to come out openly saying they suspect murder and not abetment to suicide and insist for a CBI enquiry. we are all with them. They shldnt be under any duress. #NationWantsSushanthTruth”
He further tweeted, “You can see that the voices we raised is bearing very positive results eventually. Uske ghar mein der hai andher nahin.#JusticeforSushantSingRajput”
He also urged the fans to ‘give a final push’ as he thinks a CBI inquiry will happen soon. He wrote, “Im at it with all my might..you guys step on the gas too..it needs a final push. It is bound to happen.#CBIEnquiryForSSR”
Meanwhile, Sushant’s cousin Neeraj Kumar Singh has revealed that the family wants Rhea to be arrested and that the Mumbai police should support Bihar Police in the investigation of this case.
