India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that South-West monsoon has set in over Kerala yesterday. IMD has said that Southwest Monsoon has advanced into some parts of the South Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, southwest Bay of Bengal and southern part of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
IMD has projected that Southwest monsoon is likely to advance into remaining parts of Kerala, Lakshadweep, some more parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, some parts of coastal areas of Karnataka and Rayalaseema during the next two days.
