Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, a test pilot with the Indian Air Force, ISRO astronaut, and the first Indian to visit the International Space Station, met with Sanjay Kumar, Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy, in New Delhi yesterday. In a social media post, the Ministry of Education stated that the meeting focused on the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025, which aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to foster scientific temperament, creativity, and innovation among students, empowering them to contribute to India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat. Mr Shukla has also been appointed as the Brand Ambassador for the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025.
