Government on Sunday said that Railways has delivered 1,094 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen so far to various states across the country. Railway Ministry said, 19 Oxygen expresses have already completed their journey and two more loaded Oxygen express are on the run carrying more than 61 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen.
Delhi has received its 2nd Oxygen express today carrying 120 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen from West Bengal. The 3rd Oxygen express has already begun its journey from Angul to Delhi carrying around 31 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen. Telangana has also received its first Oxygen from Angul carrying 63.6 tonnes of oxygen.
The Ministry said, Railway has so far delivered 174 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen to Maharashtra, more than 430 tonnes to Uttar Pradesh, around 157 tonnes to Madhya Pradesh, 190 tonnes to Delhi, 79 tonnes to Haryana and more than 63 tonnes to Telangana.
