PM Modi to launch development projects worth over ₹21,700 crore in Gujarat and Daman

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat and Daman tomorrow. He will dedicate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over 18 thousand 800 crore rupees in Surat across the road, power and industrial sectors. Mr Modi will also inaugurate a 200-bedded ESIC Hospital in Surat, providing modern secondary healthcare across key specialities. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate several important initiatives of the Government of Gujarat, including modern power distribution upgrades, advanced effluent disposal and treatment infrastructure at Dahej Petroleum.

In the evening, Prime Minister Modi will travel to Daman and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth around two thousand 970 crore rupees. These projects span various sectors, including healthcare, civil aviation, tourism, infrastructure, connectivity and public welfare. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate and dedicate projects worth around one thousand 340 crore rupees, including the New Terminal Building of NAMO Airport and NAMO Hospital. The new airport terminal will significantly enhance regional air connectivity and facilitate economic growth in the region
