PM Modi congratulates Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan on Parliamentary election victory

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his party on their victory in the recently held Parliamentary elections in Armenia. Mr Modi received a call from his Armenian counterpart earlier yesterday. Prime Minister Modi thanked him for facilitating the evacuation of Indian nationals stranded in Iran following the recent developments in West Asia.

In a social media post, Prime Minister Modi said, they reaffirmed the shared commitment to further strengthen the warm and multifaceted partnership between India and Armenia across key sectors. These sectors include trade, defence, technology and people-to-people ties. Mr Modi said he is looking forward to working closely together with Mr Pashinyan to take India-Armenia relations to new heights.
