Union Home Minister Amit Shah today said that the past 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government have been a golden era of the confluence of development and heritage.
In a social media post, Mr Shah said that in these 12 years, the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and Ujjain Mahakal Lok took place, while world-class connectivity, infrastructure projects, and initiatives like Make in India have given unprecedented momentum to the country’s development journey.
The Minister also noted that the digitisation of 1 crore records, the return of 668 ancient artefacts, the establishment of 11 tribal freedom struggle museums, and the granting of classical language status to 11 Indian languages clearly demonstrated that development and heritage are complementary to each other.
