The Indian Railways is continuously engaged in the distribution of liquid medical oxygen to various States and Union Territories. The Railway Ministry has said Oxygen Express trains have crossed the milestone of 32 thousand 464 metric tonnes of liquid medical oxygen across the country. These have been transported by one thousand 854 tankers.
The Railway Ministry has said that 448 Oxygen Express trains have completed their journey and brought relief to various States and Union Territories. It said, two Oxygen Expresses carrying more than 153 metric tonnes of liquid medical oxygen in eight tankers are running. The Railway Ministry has said that Oxygen Expresses have brought relief to 15 states.
