Opposition misguiding farmers on new agriculture laws, says Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that opposition political parties that do not want development of the country are misguiding farmers on the agriculture laws.

He  said that Union and State governments are always stepping  for the welfare of farmers. Mr Yogi was addressing farmers gathering at Narendra Dev Agriculture and Technology University, Kumarganj at Ayodhya today. 

He said that the way of progress and development of country goes through the fields of farmers hence it is at the top priority of the government to make the farmers prosperous and happy.  He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led union government has taken several steps for the Welfare of farmers and new agricultural laws  are in the same direction.

Mr Yogi said that 22 thousand  crore rupees have been sent in the accounts of farmers under the Kisan Samman Nidhi.
