Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan today in Madhya Pradesh inaugurated a pipe manufacturing unit set up by the Welspun Group at a cost of about 300 crores at village Jamunia and Khejra in Raisen district. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that village Jamunia will become a new industrial estate in MP. He said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has transformed the challenge of Corona into opportunity and pledged for a self-reliant India. Madhya Pradesh will participate maximum in fulfilling this resolution.
The Government of Madhya Pradesh is making the Welspun Group and similar industrial institutions partners in development for Atmanirbhar MadhyaPradesh. Out of the total employment opportunities generated by the industry in the region 50 percent will be reserved for women.
On the occasion Shri Chouhan said that the state government’s biggest priority is to provide employment to more people by doing industrial development in the state.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that with the establishment of this industry, better arrangements for health, education and employment will be possible for the people of the region.
