No new tax being considered at present on petrol and diesel: FM

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today said at present no new tax on petrol and diesel is being considered.

Replying to questions in the Lok Sabha, she, however, said, at present there is no proposal to reduce taxes on petrol and diesel.
