New Zealand to ban TikTok on devices linked to parliament

New Zealand will ban TikTok on devices with access to the parliamentary network because of cybersecurity concerns.

New Zealand’s Parliamentary Service Chief Executive Rafael Gonzalez-Montero informed that TikTok will be banned on all devices by the end of this month.

Yesterday, Britain also banned the app on government phones with immediate effect. The United States, Canada, Belgium and the European Commission have already banned the app from official devices.
