Karnataka govt to provide fibernet in all higher primary govt schools

Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister Suresh Kumar has said that the department will tie up with Bharat net to provide fibernet in all the higher primary government schools.

Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru today, the minister said that in a year all the schools will be provided internet connectivity so that advanced teaching modules could be implemented.

On starting of 10th and 12th standard offline classes from January 1, 2021, the minister said that all precautions are being taken to ensure that students attending the classes are safe from contracting the Covid 19 virus.

He said all the teaching and non- teaching staff and students have been advised to undergo Covid tests and classrooms, hostels and office rooms are being sanitised. Instead of mid day meals, the students will be given essential food items to take home.
