In Jammu and Kashmir, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan has directed all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to ensure hassle-free arrangements for the upcoming Board of School Education, BOSE, examinations. The Divisional Commissioner made these directions while reviewing arrangements for the upcoming Board examinations which will commence from tomorrow across the Kashmir Division.
Secretary of school Board was asked to ensure deposition of examination material with the respective Police Stations well before the exams. After conclusion of the examination, the filled-in material shall be deposited in the same Police Station. Director, School Education and Secretary, BOSE were asked to ensure that all the arrangements are put in place well before the commencement of examination.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioners of all the districts in Kashmir Valley have established control rooms headed by Additional Deputy Commissioners and manned by the respective Chief Education Officer, Assistant Secretary BOSE and a police Officer among others.
AIR correspondent reports, all arrangements have been made to for the smooth conduct of 10th class annual board examinations in Kashmir valley and winter zone of Jammu region from tomorrow. With the adequate deployment of police personnel, Section 144 will be imposed around all examination centres. Besides deploying checking squads for surprise check at exam centres, all arrangements have been put in place related to heating, drinking water, electricity, transportation and other basic amenities to the candidates at every examination centre. Pertinently, out of a total 01 Lakh 60 thousand students appearing in upcoming Board Examinations of 10th, 11th and 12th classes at over 1500 centres, 65 thousand candidates are appearing at 413 centres for 10th class examinations. The 12th class examinations are scheduled from Wednesday.
