Speaking after Malaysia and Turkey raised the Kashmir issue at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Raveesh Kumar on Friday, 4 October, asserted that the matter is “completely internal to India”.
While the MEA called upon the Turkey government to “get a proper understanding of the situation on the ground before they make any further statements on the issue”, it asked the government of Malaysia to “desist from making such remarks”.
