COVID vaccination coverage in the country has crossed 110 crores 74 lakh mark. More than 74 crores 65 lakh vaccine doses have been given as first dose while over 36 crores 8 lakh doses have been administered as second dose. Union Health Ministry said that more than 48 lakh 76 thousand vaccines doses were administered till 7 P.M. yesterday.
As part of the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, the Centre has been supporting the States and Union Territories by providing them COVID vaccines free of cost.
