Indian Railways achieved freight revenue of over 14 thousand 641 crore rupees mark in last month against over 14 thousand 083 crore rupees freight earnings in May last year.
With this, the Railways have witnessed an improvement of about 4 percent over last year. During the last month, originating freight loading of 134 Metric Tonne has been achieved against loading of 131.50 Metric Tonnes in May last year, which is an improvement of approximately 2 percent over the last year.
