Indian Army Inducts 113 Electric Buses Under PM E-DRIVE Initiative

Indian Army has inducted 113 electric buses along with 43 Fast Chargers in a move towards a Cleaner and Greener Environment in line with the PM E-DRIVE initiative. The Army has signed a contract worth over 130 crore rupees with a private company in this regard. In a statement, the Army said, the induction of these electric buses will usher in a new era of technology within the three services, marking a significant step towards sustainable and eco-friendly transportation. Their deployment will reduce dependence on fossil fuels and promote green technology.
