India continues to occupy top global position in Covid-19 recoveries

With around 66 lakh 63 thousand recoveries so far, India continues to occupy the top global position in terms of number of recovered Covid patients. It said, sustained efforts of TEST, TRACK, TRACE, TREAT and TECHNOLOGY is progressively yielding encouraging outcomes in the country’s fight against the pandemic.

India also continues to have one of the lowest deaths per million population globally. 22 States and Union territories have recorded lower fatality rates per million of the population when compared to the national average.
