In view of rising COVID19 cases, Uttarakhand Government suspends Char Dham Yatra

In Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Teerath Singh Rawat has said that Char Dham Yatra is cancelled due to surge in COVID cases.

Talking to the media in Dehradun on Thursday, he said that the web portals of the four shrines will be opened as per the schedule.

Teerth Purohit and priests of the shrines will perform rituals as earlier but devotees will not be allowed to perform pooja archana at shrines. Portals of Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedar Nath and Badri Nath will open next month.
