Freight loading and earning of Railways have registered growth from April to November this year.
According to the Ministry of Railways, freight loading of 978.72 metric tonnes was achieved during the period registering a growth of 8 percent in comparison to the corresponding period of last year.
Railways have earned over one lakh crore rupees from freight loading during April-November 2022 registering a growth of 16 percent as compared to the same period of last year.
