A few months ago, Turkey’s Hasan Kaval left adventure sports enthusiasts around the world stunned by paragliding on a sofa.
Kaval, who hails from Izmir, attached a specially designed sofa to a frame that had a parachute and some wheels. To make the stunt more awe-inspiring, he also added a lamp, a footstool, and a tv set.
Once he is airborne, he took off his shoes and wore some slippers before putting his feet up. A few minutes into the cruise, Kaval was seen watching Tom & Jerry on the television as the camera gave a stunning view of the sea below him.
Believe it or not, Kaval wasn’t strapped to the couch but stayed calm and relaxed throughout the journey. He even munched on some snacks and drank a soda.
A living room furniture was his choice for a ride in the month of July. But this month, he has taken a piece of bedroom furniture to the skies – an entire bed.
The 29-year-old daredevil attached a single bed to his paraglider and slept on it while cursing through the sky. He even put on a sleep mask and covered himself with a thin blanket.
The bed had drawer tables on each side with a lamp placed on one of them.

As seen in the video, he sets an alarm on a table clock before sleeping during the ride.
When the alarm rings, presumably after a few minutes, a stunning view of the beach is seen below Kaval. After safely landing on the beach, he drops the bed once again and also puts his sleep mask back on.
“I felt like I was flying to paradise. I feel like the sky is my home and I am trying to bring the home comfort to the sky. It’s taking Netflix and chill to a whole new level. I love adrenaline and adventures. Our deceased paragliding master died from a heart attack on this couch so it is very valuable to me,” Kaval said.
