Exports of Indian chemicals registered growth of 106 % in 2021-22 over 2013-14

The exports of Indian chemicals has registered a growth of 106 percent in 2021-22 over 2013-14. The export of Chemicals hit a record at over four lakh 98 thousand crore rupees in 2021-22. The export growth of Chemicals has been achieved because of a surge in shipments of Organic, Inorganic Chemicals, Agrochemicals, Dyes and Dye intermediates, and Specialty Chemicals.

The increase in exports of Chemical Products has benefitted small and medium exporters. India is the 6th largest chemical producing country in world and the 3rd largest producer in Asia.
