Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Campaign organized by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry is being held across the country.
It will continue till the 28th of this month. The broad objectives of the Campaign include celebrating the Unity in Diversity of our nation and promoting the spirit of national integration through engagement between all states and union territories.
Various programmes are on in Goa under this campaign. Goa is paired with Jharkhand state under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.
Quiz events focusing on the history, geography, art and culture, literature of Jharkhand are being held in educational institutions of Goa.
Recently a quiz event held at Amey Higher Secondary school at Ponda got an overwhelming response.
Many programmes are planned between Goa and Jharkhand. Directorate of Art and Culture and Tourism Department of Goa Government have also chalked out various such exchange events.
