Delhi’s temperature record at 9.4 degree Celsius earlier today

A thick layer of fog engulfed National Capital Delhi today. Delhi’s temperature was recorded at 9.4 degree Celsius earlier today. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature of Delhi yesterday was recorded at 15.6 degree Celsius and the minimum was 7.3 degree Celsius. As per Northern Railways, 26 trains are arriving late in Delhi due to the foggy conditions.

As per IMD, cold wave conditions are likely at isolated places over east Rajasthan today. Cold day to severe cold day conditions are also likely over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Bihar and Rajasthan till tomorrow. IMD said that dense fog is also likely over Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura during till Saturday. Dense fog at isolated places is likely over Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

As per the weather agency, heavy rainfall is likely in Lakshadweep and Kerala till tomorrow and in South Tamil Nadu till Sunday.
