DDMA decides not to levy penalty for not wearing face masks in Delhi

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has decided not to levy penalty for not wearing face masks in Delhi. However, DDMA has advised the people to wear mask in the public places. The decision came in the wake of decline in the number of Covid cases and positivity rate in the national capital.

Health and Family Welfare Department of Delhi in its order stated that DDMA in its meeting held on 31st of last month noted that the positivity rate of Covid-19 infection has come down. Also, a majority of the population has been vaccinated.
