The Uttar Pradesh government has asked people to be more cautious and careful in times when Corona cases are declining. The authorities have appealed to strictly follow Covid guidelines in wake of coming festivals, when a slight negligence might cause a big problem.
Additional Chief Secretary -Information, Navneet Sehgal said yesterday that there is a steady decline in the infection rate of Covid-19 in the state, but it is time to take more precautions. He said in wake of re-increasing Covid cases in several states,festivals and winter season ahead, special attention is to be made so that Covid cases are not increased. He said that only one thousand 822 new cases of corona infection have occurred in the state in the last 24 hours and during the same period of time 2thousand 426 patients have been treated and discharged. So far, a total of 4 lakh 51 thousand 070 persons have been treated and discharged.
There are a total 23 thousand 678 active cases of corona in the state. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath the work of Corona surveillance is being done at a rapid pace. A total of one crore 48 lakh 63 thousand 388 samples have been tested so far and a total one lakh 76 thousand people have received medical consultation on the e-Sanjeevani portal in the state. The number of Corona Hot Spot zones are also decreasing and after removing 1 thousand 32 such zones yesterday at present there are 9,376 hot spot areas in the state.
