The Union Government has said that the Covid-19 recovery rate in the country has reached 77.23 per cent. Around 70 thousand people have recovered during the last 24 hours. The Health Ministry said the total number of recoveries has reached over 31 lakh.
Currently, India’s Case Fatality Rate is at 1.73 per cent, which is one of the lowest globally. In the last 24 hours, 86 thousand 432 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the country. In the last 24 hours, one thousand 89 deaths have been reported taking the toll to 69 thousand 561.
According to Indian Council of Medical Research, more than 10 lakh 59 thousand tests have been conducted during the last 24 hours. The total number of samples tested so far has reached over four crore 77 lakhs.
